Dr. Karen Cihak received her
Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in
Rock Island, Illinois, her Masters of Arts from
Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois
and earned her Doctor of Psychology from the
Illinois School of Professional Psychology, the
Meadows Campus in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Dr. Cihak is a member of the
American Psychological Association Division 22 –
Rehabilitation Psychology, Division 40 – Clinical
Neuropsychology and an associate of the National
Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN).
She provides individual
psychotherapy and neuropsychological evaluation,
assessment and treatment of adults with a wide
variety of conditions including stroke, traumatic
brain injury, mind/body health, stress control,
substance abuse and behavioral modification.
Dr. Cihak enjoys working with
the geriatric population and patients exhibiting
dementia.
