Dr. Ahmed Elgamal received
his medical degree from Cairo University School of
Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his Residency
in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine at
Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton,
Illinois.
Dr. Elgamal is board certified through the American
Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation. He is a Independent Medical
Examiner certified by the American Board of
Independent Medical Examiners.
Dr. Elgamal is on staff at various hospitals in
Chicago and the surrounding areas including Our Lady
of the Resurrection Medical Center and Resurrection
Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Elgamal is active within the community and was
awarded the Human Relief Agency Award for
participation and arrangement of fundraising
programs for the thousands of refugees during the
Bosnian Crises and participated in organizing
fundraising dinners for the September 11th tragedy.
Whether in English, Arabic or French, Dr. Elgamal
always approaches his patients with an upbeat
demeanor and a positive outlook.
